Dormant or Inactive Sellers Policy
Introduction
Amajova.com is dedicated to maintaining an active and secure marketplace for freelancers and clients. To ensure optimal platform performance and prevent potential security risks, we have established a policy for dormant or inactive sellers. This policy outlines the criteria for inactivity, actions taken on dormant accounts, and reactivation procedures.
1. Definition of Dormant or Inactive Sellers
A seller's account is considered dormant or inactive if it meets any of the following conditions:
- No service listings, transactions, or interactions for six (6) consecutive months.
- Repeated failure to respond to client inquiries within a reasonable timeframe.
- Prolonged absence without updating availability status.
2. Actions Taken on Dormant Accounts
If an account is deemed inactive, Amajova.com may take the following steps:
- Notification Email: A warning email will be sent to the seller, prompting them to log in and take action.
- Profile Deactivation: After nine (9) months of inactivity, the account may be temporarily deactivated, and listings may be removed from search results.
- Permanent Account Removal: If an account remains inactive for twelve (12) months, it may be permanently closed, with any remaining funds subject to our withdrawal and refund policies.
3. Reactivating a Dormant Account
To reactivate an inactive account, sellers must:
- Log into their account and update their profile.
- Verify identity (if required) through our KYC process for security purposes.
- Reactivate or create new service listings to resume selling.
4. Preventive Measures for Sellers
To avoid inactivity penalties, sellers are encouraged to:
- Regularly update their profile and services.
- Set an “Away” status when unavailable for extended periods.
- Respond to client inquiries promptly to maintain an active status.
Conclusion
Amajova.com values active participation from all freelancers. This policy ensures a thriving marketplace while safeguarding against inactive accounts that may pose security or service quality concerns. Sellers are encouraged to remain engaged and compliant with platform policies to maximize their success.
